Mesolift - a special form of mesotherapy - is a minimally invasive aesthetic treatment specifically used for skin rejuvenation and revitalization. It involves using fine needles to inject a tailored mixture of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants, and, depending on skin needs, amino acids into the middle skin layer (dermis).
The goal is to intensely hydrate the skin, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin elasticity.
Mesolift refers to the aesthetic subfield of mesotherapy, focusing entirely on the visible improvement of skin quality. While classical mesotherapy is also used medically or functionally - such as for hair loss, pain, or cellulite - mesolifting exclusively targets cosmetic effects: more freshness, firmness, and radiance.
Typical treatment areas for mesolifting: face, neck, décolleté, and back of the hands – precisely those areas where fine lines, loss of elasticity, and skin fatigue are particularly visible early on.
The effect of Mesolift is based on two principles:
Tip: Mesolift & Microneedling
Microneedling can enhance the effect. The skin is perforated over a large area without injection. The resulting microchannels make the skin particularly receptive to active ingredients – ideal for sensitive skin or large-area application.
She is the main actor in almost every mesolift treatment. As a natural substance, hyaluronic acid has the ability to bind large amounts of water, providing an immediate plumping and refreshing effect. At the same time, it improves skin elasticity and supports the natural regeneration process.
Depending on the combination, particularly Vitamin A (Retinol), C, and E are used.
In addition to the mentioned vitamins, other antioxidants are used in mesolifting, such as coenzyme Q10, glutathione, or plant polyphenols. They act as a shield against free radicals and help minimize environmental and light damage to the skin.
The exact composition of the active ingredients is individually adjusted—depending on skin type, age, and desired effect. This makes the Mesolift flexible to use.
Mesolift gently rejuvenates the skin from the inside—without any surgical intervention. The complexion appears fresher, smoother, and firmer, without an artificial look or volume build-up.
The treatment is well tolerated. Redness or slight swelling usually subside within a few hours—everyday life and work are immediately possible again.
Fine needles and modern devices make the application almost painless. If desired, a numbing cream provides additional comfort—many describe the sensation as a slight tingling.
Mesolift is suitable for anyone who wants fresher, smoother skin without surgery, regardless of skin type. It shows good results especially for dryness, fine lines, loss of elasticity, dull complexion, or sun-damaged skin. It is also well-suited for mature or sensitive skin.
The treatment is advisable as soon as the first signs of skin aging appear, often from the age of 30. Many also use it preventively or for regeneration after sun exposure, stress, or in combination with other procedures like microneedling or laser.
Autumn and winter are considered ideal times, as the skin reacts more sensitively to UV radiation after the treatment. Mesolift is also possible in the summer – with consistent sun protection.

Typical areas are the face, neck, and décolleté – where the first wrinkles and loss of firmness become visible early. Especially in the décolleté, the skin is often sun-damaged and thin – targeted deep hydration can have a significant impact here.
The backs of the hands can also be treated effectively to make thinning skin appear fresher and smoother. Since the skin here has little subcutaneous fat, patients particularly benefit from active ingredients that bind moisture and strengthen the tissue.
Usually, 3 to 5 treatments at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks are useful. Individual consultation helps to find the right rhythm for your skin.
The visible effect develops gradually and generally lasts 3 to 6 months. Refreshers may be useful depending on the skin condition.
The cost of a mesolift treatment varies depending on the region, method, and practice. Generally, the prices for mesolifting per session range between 200 and 400 euros. For multiple applications – for example, as part of a course – many providers offer package prices, which are relatively cheaper. An individual consultation helps to realistically assess the effort and the number of sessions required.
Mesolift is generally well tolerated. Redness, small hematomas, or swellings are possible, which usually subside quickly. In rare cases, there may be local irritations or intolerances.
The treatment is not recommended for active skin inflammations, allergies to ingredients, during pregnancy, or with anticoagulant medication. Therefore, a medical consultation in advance is important.
