Early detection as an art form
"The art lies in recognizing and removing an early form of melanoma – then you can really help people." With exactly this claim, Dr. med. Christine Zimpfer opened her dermatological practice in Mannheim-Seckenheim in 2008. What began as a personal vision is today a modern medical care center with supraregional appeal.
Today, the facility operates as MVZ Dres. Zimpfer - equipped with the latest technology over more than 400 square meters and led by Dr. Zimpfer with professional consistency, empathy, and a clear focus on prevention and dermato-oncology. As a specialist in dermatology with an additional qualification in "naturopathic treatments", she combines classical orthodox medicine with complementary approaches – for a well-founded, individualized, and holistic care of her patients.

A comprehensive documentation that helps save lives: Around 62,000 images of skin changes have been taken and archived with a dermatoscope in the practice over the last 10 years.

At the center of her medical thinking is the early detection of malignant skin changes. Her many years of work at the University Dermatology Clinic Mannheim in cooperation with the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) laid the foundation for her profound expertise – a wealth of experience that still shapes her daily work today.
With over 62,000 documented dermatoscopy images, Dr. Zimpfer works at the highest diagnostic level. Her spectrum ranges from classical Skin cancer screening through photodynamic therapies to outpatient tumor surgery and close tumor follow-up care.
