For all those who do not want to choose between luxury, a vibrant scene, and soothing tranquility, the Hotel The Dolder Grand offers a distinctive blend.
There are not many things in life that give us a more cozy feeling of happiness than the sight of the rising sun in the east, bathing the world in warm light. But east of bustling Zurich, nestled in gentle hills and surrounded by breathtaking nature, a very special place awaits that takes this feeling of well-being to a whole new level: The Dolder Grand – a hotel of superlatives that offers the opportunity to harmonize body and mind.
The Dolder Grand, a masterpiece of architecture, impressively combines tradition and modernity. Built in 1899, the city grand hotel was expanded with two annexes by renowned star architect Sir Norman Foster. In 175 rooms and suites – many with balconies or terraces – guests enjoy fascinating views of Zurich, Lake Zurich, or the surrounding forest.
The timelessly elegant interior radiates modern luxury; an exclusive butler service is available in the suites upon request. Art holds a high place at the Dolder Grand: around 100 works by 90 renowned artists adorn the walls. From Salvador Dalí to Takashi Murakami – the collection is a feast for the senses and invites you to immerse yourself in the world of creativity.
The dynamic art exhibition changes regularly, making each visit a new experience. Tip: For creative explorers, there is the opportunity to design an individual art route through the hotel. Each artwork is equipped with a QR code that provides additional highlights on the respective pieces.

As one of the leading spa hotels in Switzerland, the Dolder Grand is home to an impressive spa world covering a generous 4,000 square meters, boasting a sanarium, a 25-meter swimming pool, a sauna, a steam bath, and relaxation areas.
At the heart of this oasis of calm is the holistic concept "The Dolder Grand Life Balance", which is based on four essential pillars: relaxation (Relax), beauty (Beauty), vitality (Vitality), and detoxification (Detox). The philosophy behind it aims to promote long-term health and inner satisfaction.
A highlight amidst this harmonious environment is a meditation path that spirals - optionally accompanied by an audio meditation - to a room of silence, whose dome of shimmering mirror mosaic creates an atmosphere of reflection.

The Dolder Grand cooperates exclusively with the best doctors from leading clinics and practices in Switzerland, including the Bethanien Privatklinik, the University Hospital Zurich, Paracelsus Recovery, The Kusnacht Practice, and the Hirslanden Swiss Hospital Group.
For an effortless introduction to the world of medical wellness, the Dolder Medical Group offers four tailored treatment programs: the Health & Immune Boost focusing on preventive and sports medicine, the Face & Body Tightening, which includes vampire lifting (PRP), the skin rejuvenation procedure with minimally invasive interventions, and individual coaching.
Through excellent on-site consultation, guests receive personalized solutions to promote physical and mental balance. New to the offer is the two-day "Forest Bathing Special", which includes forest bathing for deceleration.

The culinary selection at The Dolder Grand is as diverse as its medical wellness offerings. The hotel houses "The Restaurant", which has been awarded two Michelin stars – a true highlight for gourmets.
In addition, there is the creative "Saltz", designed by artist Rolf Sachs, a meeting place for the local and international scene, as well as the Mikuriya, where dishes are prepared right in front of the guests' eyes. A special experience in summer is the open-air restaurant "Blooms", located on the edge of the forest amidst vegetable beds, herbs, and fruit bushes. Here, fine dining chef Heiko Nieder prepares dishes that are as delicious as they are healthy – vegetarian, vegan, regional, and seasonal.
