Preventive medicine, longevity, and wellness—these new resorts focus on health with a luxury factor. From Austria to the Spanish coast.
Longevity, prevention, and modern regeneration: Medical wellness is increasingly becoming the luxury segment of the health industry. Three new resorts in Germany, Austria, and Spain focus on individual health concepts, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and holistic therapies – combined with exclusive design, extraordinary nature, and tailored programs for body and mind.
Under the motto "Healthcare like no other," the house on Lake Constance offers an exclusive, integrative medical prevention concept based on four pillars. High-altitude climate, Cardio-MRI, F.X. Mayr medicine & gut health, gait and movement analysis & muscle health.
Thus, all rooms and suites have a specially regulated high-altitude climate: A technology simulates the atmosphere of high mountain ranges up to 4,000m above sea level, which increases oxygen supply in the body, improves circulation, stimulates cell metabolism, and promotes regeneration.
With the Cardio-MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) at the level of leading university clinics, Buff Medical Resort uses one of the most advanced methods for examining the heart.
The medical team consists of leading specialists from various disciplines such as cardiology, internal medicine, and orthopedics. "Our vision is to create a place where people can experience holistic health – both physically and mentally," explains Dr. Claas Hohmann, the medical director of Buff Medical Resorts.

The resort's holistic health concept utilizes the ancient healing knowledge of Ayurveda and combines traditional Indian healing arts with modern medical expertise to restore the balance of body, mind, and soul.
Experienced Ayurveda doctors and therapists create a tailored treatment plan for guests – from revitalizing oil treatments like Abhyanga and Shirodhara to deep cleansing herbal applications.
At Buff Medical Resort, guests can expect a spacious wellness and spa area. Here, a wide variety of treatments are offered, from classic massages to hydrotherapy applications and fascia therapy. Highlight: The pool area with a 15-meter indoor pool and a 25-meter outdoor pool.

Healthy holidays in Austria's Wildschönau. At the house's medical spa, the innovative, evidence-based "Mylife Changer" methodology is employed, developed with doctors and experts in manual and nutritional therapy over more than 10 years of research and practice by Papp&Papp.
At the heart of the methodology at Mount Med Resort is cellular health. The goal is to activate metabolism and cell health, as well as to stop or reverse the biological clock for a long, healthy, and physically and mentally fit life.
“The origin of the methodology lay in the effort to strengthen the general health and postoperative condition of breast cancer patients, as well as to improve and shorten the healing process,” explains Dr. Alexander Papp, specialist in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery.
“However, it has been shown that the system also brings very good results in improving the general condition of healthy people—especially in prevention—and positively influences biological age.”

The “Mylife Changer” methodology is based on seven pillars, including anti-inflammatory nutrition, a metabolic program that follows the principles of Intermittent fasting, calorie reduction and fat metabolism combined, oxygen and vitamin infusions, minimally invasive skin and muscle tightening, and an exercise program.
The architectural concept of the house is based on the idea of creating a connection between old and new, bringing nature into the house, and establishing a harmonious connection between old and new, between inside and outside: with an interior design that nourishes the soul.
