Premium Medical Circle and Merck Finck hosted an exclusive networking evening titled "Wealth meets Health," bringing together guests for an evening of insights into health, prevention, and financial planning for the future.
Under the motto "Wealth meets Health", Premium Medical Circle and Merck Finck, a Quintet Private Bank, hosted an exclusive networking evening in Munich as part of the ForHer Initiative. Set in the stylish surroundings of Sois Blessed, the event brought together more than 40 women, including physicians, entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from the healthcare and financial sectors.
The evening's goal was to bring together two central pillars of a self-determined life: good health and a secure financial future.
Following welcome remarks from Stephanie Neureuter, CEO of Premium Medical Circle, and Martina Uchtmann, Head of the ForHer Initiative at Merck Finck, guests enjoyed a varied programme of inspiring talks and ample opportunity for personal exchange.
The evening opened with Dr. Verena Buchinger, Chief Medical Officer of the Buchinger-Wilhelmi Clinic on Lake Constance, with her talk "Self-Optimisation in Balance – Why True Glow Begins with a Reset", in which she addressed the growing pressure of constant self-optimisation and explored ways to sustain health and performance over the long term.
She summed up her diagnosis of today's social landscape in a single sentence: "Self-optimisation has become self-overload." Rather than being constantly driven, she argued, it is essential to make conscious choices and deliberately protect one's own resources.
Her closing statement resonated with the evening's theme: "Self-optimization in balance doesn't mean wanting less. It means choosing more wisely – knowing the difference between what drives us and what sustains us."
Robert Greil, Chief Strategist at Merck Finck, went on to emphasize the importance of strategic wealth planning as the cornerstone of personal freedom and long-term financial security.
Despite their differences, one thing became clear: prevention is a decisive factor for success in both medicine and financial decision-making. Health and financial planning go hand in hand — because only those who keep both in mind can build the foundation for a self-determined life.
Over the course of the summer dinner that followed, participants continued their conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. Networking, discussion, and talk of shared challenges and opportunities carried on well into the late evening.
The evening made a compelling case for the value of interdisciplinary exchange between medicine, business, and finance. It also drove home a clear message: those who invest early in prevention — both in terms of health and finances — set themselves up for the best possible quality of life, independence, and lasting success.
