The Cosimawellenbad is a popular swimming pool located in the Munich district of Bogenhausen, known for its unique wave technology. Opened in the 1980s, the pool was revolutionary at the time for being one of the first in Germany to generate artificial waves. The centerpiece of the facility is the large wave pool, where waves up to one meter high are regularly produced. This wave system makes swimming a special experience, simulating the feeling of being in the sea. The natural bath Maria Einsiedel is a green oasis in the idyllic Isar meadows of Thalkirchen. Here, there is pure bathing pleasure without chlorine or chemical additives, thanks to innovative biological water treatment by microorganisms. Over 400 meters, the crystal-clear Isar canal with fresh mountain water flows directly through the bathing facility, providing a unique natural experience.

What makes Dantebad in Neuhausen exceptional is its function as a winter warm outdoor pool. While other outdoor pools close in the cold months, Dantebad has been offering a very special experience since 1965: the 50-meter swimming pool is heated to a pleasant 30°C in winter. This allows swimmers to swim their laps under the open sky all year round – a magical experience when steam rises from the warm water into the cold winter air and it snows outside.
