In self-test: Detox at Lake Lucerne

Vacation for Body and Soul: Why I Felt Reborn After a Week at Chenot Palace Weggis in Switzerland

As soon as I walked through the doors of the Chenot Palace Weggis, I knew I was in for a special experience. The ambiance exuded tranquility and elegance, and the fresh mountain air, along with the enchanting views of the mountains and Lake Lucerne, immediately washed away the stress of the past workdays.

I had already looked into the Chenot Method beforehand because some of my friends go to Weggis twice a year and rave about it: Their approach is holistic, aiming to detoxify, regenerate, and revitalize the body. Developed by Henri Chenot, it combines Western medical principles with traditional Chinese healing practices.

"The innovative diagnostic tools are very impressive"

The first encounter with the medical team was exactly as I hoped: Highly professional and warm. I was impressed by the innovative technology and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools used to measure health parameters here, such as the nutrient supply to my skin and organs, vascular age, and skin collagen thickness. Based on these results, a personalized program was developed for me, taking into account both my physical and mental needs.

One of the treatments I received at the state-of-the-art Medical Spa was the Chenot Detox treatment, where special massage techniques help rid the body of toxins. Another highlight was the Hydro-Aromatherapy. Here, essential oils and special water massages were combined to relax and simultaneously revitalize the body. The scent of the oils and the soothing effect of the water created a deep sense of relaxation.

Healthy cuisine at star level

The nutrition plan also plays a crucial role. The Chenot Diet is a combination of true gourmet cuisine and cutting-edge science: purely plant-based, 850 calories over three meals a day. I found the food really delicious and never felt hungry. Equally important are the movement therapies at Chenot Palace Weggis. One should definitely indulge in yoga and Pilates sessions; afterward, not only did my body feel strengthened, but also my mind.

"I was back in my center"

My conclusion after a week at Lake Lucerne: I was back in my center. More relaxed, yet energetic. I've never experienced the combination of medical precision, luxurious relaxation, and human warmth like this before. I will definitely return!
