Specialist in reconstructive surgery
Dr. Uckunkaya takes a lot of time to explain the treatment options in detail and understandably. It is also crucial for him to make patients aware of the scope of a procedure. Since February 2023, he has been performing operations as an attending physician at the state-of-the-art PAN Clinic at Neumarkt, which is located directly opposite his own practice. There, an experienced team of anesthetists and operating room nurses under the leadership of Dr. Uckunkaya ensures competent care from the first consultation to the last follow-up examination. "We have the claim that our patients feel well cared for all around and comfortable at all times," explains the specialist.
In addition to aesthetic surgeries and treatments, reconstructive surgeries are also an important part of the practice clinic's treatment spectrum. "Restoring body shape and function after an injury or illness is an important part of our work at the Haubrichforum," explains the surgeon.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Uckunkaya also brings in his skills. Since 1990, he has been a member of "Interplast Germany e. V.", a charitable association of doctors that enables people to return to a normal life free of charge through aesthetic-plastic reconstruction. The organization is funded by donations. Its area of operation is limitless. Interplast sends teams of doctors to developing countries where they treat children and adults when local medical care is not sufficient.
Dr. Savas Uckunkaya has already accompanied several missions, he was with operation teams in Indonesia, India, and Guatemala.
