Zahnarztpraxis Dres. Thomsen & Kollegen
Dr. med. dent. Tore Thomsen is a specialist in modern endodontics and functional dental reconstruction – with a clear goal: preserve teeth, protect substance, and restore aesthetics. For over ten years, he has been part of the dental practice Dres. Thomsen & Kollegen in Hamburg-Eppendorf – contributing his expertise to digital, high-precision treatment processes.
After his assistantship in Ulm, he deepened his knowledge in microscope-assisted root canal treatment at the renowned University of Pennsylvania – at an international top level.
Many associate a root canal treatment with discomfort. Dr. Thomsen shows that modern endodontics looks different today: substance-preserving, low-pain - and extremely precise. With the help of an operating microscope and digital imaging, he safely treats even complex root canals - enabling the long-term preservation of natural teeth.
"For the preservation of a tooth, root canal treatment is often crucial – and with the right technique, it's also well tolerated."

Another focus is on the reconstruction of severely worn teeth - often caused by grinding or malocclusions. So-called abrasion dentition can not only be aesthetically disturbing but also cause functional complaints such as jaw joint problems.
Dr. Thomsen relies on a fully digital workflow: With an intraoral scanner and 3D face scan, the original tooth shape is virtually reconstructed - as a basis for a new, functionally stable, and aesthetically harmonious dentition.
In close collaboration with the in-house dental laboratory, precise reconstructions made of modern ceramic materials are created - digitally planned, CAD/CAM manufactured, manually perfected. This way, Dr. Thomsen combines digital precision with classical care - for results that convince.
With endodontic sensitivity, digital competence, and a clear view of function and aesthetics, Dr. Thomsen stands for dentistry that protects natural substance - and brings smiles back.
